Artisanal LA: A Tasty Weekend of Local Food and Foodies

Many thanks to all our supports who came out to Artisanal LA last weekend – and many more thanks to those who found us for the first time at the fest! We had a blast rubbing shoulders with like-minded chefs, food producers, and craft vendors. During any downtime when we weren’t doling out olive oil samples (which was rare!), we got a kick out of checking out the other fantastic vendors at this Los Angeles-based craft market.

And what a fest it was! Celebrating all things local, hand-crafted, and sustainable, Artisanal LA is always a great way for us to connect with fellow foodies with a cause—and a hearty appetite! Customer faves were the Lime Olive Oil and Black Currant Balsamic Vinegar, especially when sampled together (two perfect products for springtime salads and grilling).

When it came to our straight-up extra virgin olive oils, crowds loved the tropical notes delivered by the Ascolano (our Market Manager, Matt’s, personal favorite), and those with a preference for robust oils loved the Italian Blend.
