Spanish Blend is brand new to The Olive Press this year! The idea of Spanish Blend was conceived by our master miller, Pepe Chavez. He set out to create an oil that represents the best of what Spanish olives have to offer and Spanish Blend is a truly an incredible example of that. This oil is of delicate intensity and is a field blend of our most popular and award winning varietal, Sevillano and another varietal that is brand new to The Olive Press, Manzanillo! This oil blends the buttery and grassy qualities of the Sevillano with the herbaceous character of the Manzanillo to create a creamy sensation on the palate with an undertone of roasted squash that finishes with a subtle pungency. The qualities of Spanish Blend are best accentuated when used for cooking because this oil can stand up to strong flavors while embracing them and letting them shine! Enjoy!
