For our friends living in the Paso Robles/San Luis Obispo areas of California, this festival is for you!
The Paso Robles Olive Festival, happening on Saturday, August 20th, is going to be a full day of food, wine, music, arts, crafts, and games. And best of all, it’s open to the public, and you only need to pay anything if you choose to partake in the wine tasting (at just $15 per ticket!).
Hosted at the Paso Robles Downtown City Park, there’s going to be no shortage of activities going on from 10 AM until 5 PM. Olive Oil, beer, and wine tastings will whet the appetite, getting you revved up for the cooking contests, recipe samplings, and gourmet food vendors to be hosted on site.
For the kids, family-friendly events are hosted all afternoon, ranging from clowns, bean bag toss, jewelry making, rock painting, and more arts and crafts. The kids might even have a better time than you and the other adults will (but it’s really a toss-up!).
It’s shaping up to be one extremely pleasant summer here in California, and we are expecting nothing less for the weekend of the Olive Festival. Join us at the park for a full day of wining, dining, and celebrating the mighty olive.
