Even though California Olive Oil tests out as excellent in consumer reports while the majority of imported olive oil is adulterated, competition for a share of the market is still extremely high for Calfornia producers. One contributing factor is that the US government is subsidizing foreign olive oil, specifically Moroccan. Read more:
