The Olive Press takes home a Gold Medal for their Lunigiana Estate Extra Virgin Olive Oil from Italy at the Biol 2015 Competition. The Olive Press is thrilled to come out on top alongside old world producers in Italy.
Lunigiana was founder Ed Stolman’s estate and this was his signature blend. “Winning this award is such a victory for The Olive Press, and for me and my husband, Fred Cline, as we carry on this tradition and estate oil for our dear friend,” says Nancy Cline, owner of The Olive Press. These trees were planted when he started The Olive Press and the Clines have carried on the Lunigiana oil since his passing.
Lunigiana means Land of the Moon in Italian, here in Sonoma it’s the Valley of the Moon. This oil has won a medal in Italy for 9 years and The Olive Press is thrilled and hopeful of its continuing success.
The Olive Press has earned a total of 313 awards during their reign as the most highly awarded olive oil producer in the nation and is excited about the continuing 2015 awards season.
