Cinnamon-Balsamic Pear Bruschetta

The ultimate Fall treat! These slightly sweet treats are an excellent appetizer, a light snack or even a dessert!

Made with these products from The Olive Press:


  • 3 3/4 Tbsp The Olive Press Pear Balsamic
  • 3 Tbsp The Olive Press Sevillano Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 whole grain baguette
  • 2 pears, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp butter
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • A pinch of nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup mascarpone
  • 1 tsp honey


  1. Preheat oven to 400F.
  2. Slice baguette into 1/2 inch rounds, lay on a baking sheet, brush with Sevillano Extra Virgin Olive Oil, and bake for 5-7 minutes or until golden brown on both sides.
  3. Heat skillet over medium-low heat and add butter.
  4. Once butter is melted, add pears then sprinkle with salt, cinnamon and nutmeg.
  5. Allow pears to caramelize slowly for about 10-15 minutes.
  6. In a bowl, combine mascarpone, honey and 3/4 Tbsp Pear Balsamic.
  7. Spread mascarpone on toasted baguette slices.
  8. Once pears are caramelized, add balsamic vinegar and cook for 1-2 more minutes.
  9. Add spoonfuls of pear mixture on top of mascarpone baguettes and drizzle with honey.
  10. Serve warm or cool and enjoy!
