Classic Summer Bruschetta

Nothing says summer quite like a classic bruschetta. Start out with thick sliced crusty bread browned in olive oil or grilled over open flame and top with the perfect mixture of tomatoes, basil, chopped garlic, extra virgin olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt and pepper. Now that's summer... enjoy!

Made with these products from The Olive Press:

  • 1 boule of your favorite crusty bread, thickly sliced, at least 1 inch
  • 6 tablespoons Arbequina Extra Virgin Olive Oil, divided
  • 1 container cherry tomatoes, quartered
  • 1 bunch basil, chopped
  • 6-8 cloves of garlic, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons White Balsamic Vinegar
  • Salt & Pepper to taste

  1. Heat olive oil over medium in a pan, add slices of bread, soak up the olive oil and turn. Make sure the surfaces are coated in olive oil and cook until browned on both sides. Continue with all of your bread.
  2. Combine tomatoes, basil, garlic, 3-4 tablespoons olive oil, 2 tablespoons vinegar, salt and pepper in a bowl. Mix and top your grilled bread. Enjoy!
