
Ingredients
1/2 cup Jalapeño Co-milled Olive Oil
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup yellow cornmeal (or polenta)
1 tablespoon sugar (optional)
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cup buttermilk shake before measuring
2 large eggs
Preparation
STEP 1
Preheat your oven to 400 degrees.
STEP 2
In a large bowl mix together flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
STEP 3
Make space in the middle of your dry ingredients and mix in the buttermilk and the eggs.
STEP 4
Once well combined, add in your Jalapeno Co-milled Olive Oil.
STEP 5
Bake until cornbread is done about 20-25 minutes.
