Simple Hummus

Arbosana Extra Virgin Olive Oil


  • 2 Tablespoons Arbosana EVVO
  • 1 Can chickpeas
  • 1/4 Cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 Cup tahini
  • 1 Small garlic clove, minced
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 2 Tbsp water
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground Paprika


  • In a food processor, combine tahini and lemon juice; process for 1 minute
  • Add olive oil, minced garlic, cumin, and 1/2 tsp salt, process for 30 seconds
  • Open, drain and rinse chickpeas; add half to the food processor. Process for 1 minute; scrape sides and bottom of the bowl.
  • Add remaining chickpeas and salt to taste; process until thick and smooth. Add water if necessary to adjust consistency.
  • Serve with a generous drizzle of olive oil, a dash of paprikaand enjoy!
